<p>I'm new here on this forum but I have a big question. I need to get into college but I have a 2.4 gpa with a 18-21 act score, applying to PA state schools and looking to major in journalism(I'd like to be a sports journalist preferably)
Heres a little about me if that helps you to figure out what I could do:
1.Scored in the 94 percentile in the usa in reading-vocabulary and 75 in english on my practice act but scored extremely low in math about 20 percentile.
2.My gpa is misleading becauce of my high history,english and science(biology:Freshman- ecology:junior) grades but low grades in cheminstry and alegabra 1&2(they were in the 50 range)
3.I went to one of the top schools in my city:Prep Charter High School
4.I played football and baseball on my schools varsity teams for every year of my high school career and In the running for a D2 football scholorship.(I don't know if this helps but I thinks it's atleast note worthy)
5. I'm italian-american
6. I come from a single parent household(noteworthy because there is many scholorships for it)
7. I'm in special ed in my school because I have a hard time focusing.</p>
<p>I don’t know much about PA state schools but I do know you can make it to college! Your grades might not be the best but like you said you do have some high grades. You just have to find the right college! Best of luck!</p>
