Can I still apply for aid?

When I applied to the university using CommonApp, I indicated I don’t require aid.

However, after re-assessing our family’s financial situation, including the home assets, I feel that I would qualify for some aid at least.

Now, I know I could call up the university and ask about whether I can apply or not, but they are closed right now, so I thought I’d get some opinion from you guys.

Has anyone ever been in this situation? What did you do? What impression will they make of me?

No impression. People’s financial situation changes all the time, and it’s not uncommon for applicants to change their financial aid interests.

Again, call the offices to inquire about this since the deadline to submit various documents (CSS profile) has passed.
