I hope I don't confuse anyone.. Thanks for all answers in advance:-)
On June 1st I took the SAT for the first time (no PSAT) I really had all my practice from apps, daily questions, and what I learned in school. I scored better than what I thought I would score, but DEFINITELY not my best and I'm scared because I sent my scores to the maximum number of colleges that they allowed (with the advice of my college/career counselor at my school). I sent most of them to community colleges and cal states:-( (cal states were my main targets). I have a 3.43 GPA (11th grade, not total) and I haven't started my 12th grade year yet so I WILL be taking the SAT again (of course with much more studying done seeing as how the next date isn't until Oct.). I am involved in other things within and outside of my school and I am doing everything else at my school that I can (good grades etc..). I really want to attend a 4 year, but I'm worried that the SAT scores that I have sent will effect my chances and my new scores (if they are better) won't be acknowledged as much as they would if they were the scores that I sent the first time around. I know that there are always options, but I want to know are my chances of a cal state effected by my bad scores.

P.S I don't feel comfortable sharing my scores but they didn't meet the avg.but they didn't miss the avg. by much either.
I didn't cancel them earlier b/c when I decided to try & cancel I missed the deadline:-/
