Can I submit my letter of Recommendation for Harvard College online?

I submitted my application for Harvard College Early Action round. I have received my Harvard application status account. On the account it says I can upload documents. I do not understand what it means about directly from the school or source. Can I get my teacher to come on my account and upload the recommendation letter? Or is it supposed to just be sent to the Harvard Office of Admissions and Financial Aid?

"Please note that official documents (high school transcript, prior college transcript, secondary school report, College Official’s Report, teacher recommendations, and test scores) must come directly from your school or the source. Only official documents will change the status of your file. Word documents and PDFs can be uploaded here. Media such as images, audio, and video files should be submitted via Slideroom. "

No, letters of recommendation are official documents, written on school stationary and must be uploaded from the school or the source (meaning that your teachers need to upload the file). If you upload the file, what is to stop Admissions from thinking you wrote the letter by yourself.
