Can I submit the same essay when reapplying?(Spring semester)

So i’m reapplying as a transfer student to a college that previously rejected me when i applied as a transfer for their general admission fall 2017-2018 school year. This time i’m applying for priority spring admission 2017-2018 and i’m wondering if i can use the same essay.

I know this generally isn’t a good idea but the prompt is the same (it asks to describe my past academic experiences and for my reasons of wishing to attend the school at this point in my academic career) and nothing much as changed regarding the content of my essay, there’s not much i can add since only 2 months has passed since i last applied.

Ask yourself this: Did it work the first time?

Write a nes essay. Find out what that college is looking for. Show them you offer it.

Whatever you wrote last time didn’t seem work if you were rejected. Reassess and rewrite. Try to find something that will make you a more attractive candidate than you were in the last round.
