Can I take a math class online during the school year?

I absolutely hate math (I am good at it, it is just I see no way of applying it to the real world)

My schedule is VERY easy, so in my free time I reckon that I could take online Math classes for the next level

Do you guys think my Guidance Counselor would go for it?

Definitely.
If you live in Virginia, consider enrolling through VirtualVirginia.

Phew, that takes a load off in the future!
Shame I can’t do that program (I live in MA)

I will ask the guidance counselor which online courses they like.

There’s many more online math courses you can look into! Art of Problem Solving is a good math-specific website. Then there’s Stanford’s EPGY and John Hopkins’s CTY, but those are probably better for post-Calculus math courses (and they’re quite expensive). All of CTY’s math courses are individually paced. Most states have their own public online schools, and K12 is an option. Even Indiana has one, and it has a few APs xP

The two I just mentioned are meant for gifted students, so the curriculum is probably harder than your school’s. If your school doesn’t accept those, I don’t know what they would accept :/
