Can I take classes outside my major at BC?

Let’s say I’m majoring in bio but I want to take a class on screenwriting, which is under the film major. Is that possible at BC?

you can take any class in Arts & Sciences for which you have completed the pre-reqs. You can also take classes in other colleges, but some of those courses give priority to students in those colleges, or are restricted to students in those colleges (nursing, education for example).

So, yes, you can not only take Film class, but the Core requirements of BC require that you take an arts class, one of which is a Film class. Other Film classes are also available.

Yes. (You have to be sure to complete your core requirements, though) Taking classes outside your major is easy, but you won’t always get your first choice class every semester.
