Can my piano talent give me a better chance at getting into a college of my choice?

I am currently a senior in high school. I have been playing the piano since I was 4 years old. I have never taken piano seriously. Though I have been playing for so long, I am not as good as people might think I am. However, I have been taking the ABRSM exams, and I will taking the exam for the last level (grade 8) sometime this October. Though I dont play the piano for my school band, can the fact that I have been playing for so long give me a better shot at being accepted to a college? I have proof that I have taken all of the ABRSM exams (aka certificates/result reports). But in no way am I planning to be a music major. Piano has always been a hobby/passion, rather than something I plan to pursue in life. But can my piano talent count as "brownie points" when I apply to colleges?

by the way, I am NOT going to apply to any preforming arts school. I plan to major in some sort of science.

College List:
Barnard College
NYU
Cornell
CUNY Macaulay Honors
Sophie Davis at City College

The fact that you have been playing piano for so long will show interest in dedication in an activity and you should put it on your applications. However, it will not give you any better shot at being accepted than any other EC would.
