Class Rank: 13/270 UW, 21/270 Weighted (My school gives me the choice of which to report out of the two. Which should I choose, or should I choose both)

<p>Another worry I have with my applications is the fact that I have a W on my transcript after dropping a class in the first semester of my sophomore year. I got straight As after that however :/</p>
<p>If you are a senior, you should eliminate schools that require subject tests because you haven’t met the admissions requirements and will get rejected as an incomplete application. </p>
<p>If you are a junior then you are in great shape and competitive for those schools. Study for some SAT IIs. Look at the threads and see what the recommended books are. </p>
<p>I agree with imperio except that I think JHU and Rice are matches. You top 10% in a very competitive environment and thus are quite competitive for all of these schools. I don’t distinguish high and low reaches. I think a reach is a school with a less than 40% chance of getting in, and a match is 40-90% and safety is 100% when rounded to the nearest 10%. You should look up your school’s Naviance and assess your own chances. It’s more accurate.</p>
