It’s kind of weird… and also too long. I read somewhere online that the extended essay should be about 1000 words, but now I’m just learning that it should in fact be about 500. My essay is currently about 750 words. Can anyone tell me if my essay idea at all works, and perhaps ideas on where to cut? Thanks!

If it makes you feel any better, mine ended up being 1330 words. I applied ED so I don’t know whether or not that hurt me, but I did the “historical figure mash-up” prompt so it kind of warranted a longer short story.
