CAN"T FIND IT

Does Carnegie mellon have a link for its ONLINE supplement?? I want to do my application online...but all i can find is a link for the pdf version of it's supplement. help!!

I don't think they have an online supplement. Just fill it out on paper and postmark it by Jan 1st. It's pretty much the same as the common, so it's easy

It does have an online supplement..........

When you go to commonapp.org, just choose your college as carnegie mellon and then go to supplements.....

yeah. actually they HAVE to have an online supplement bc i'm sending the commonapp online and the supplement has to be sent the same way. but... the supplements tab on the commonapp.org just takes me to the page with the pdf version of the supplement.. so i'm confused..

yea i saw that. I'm sending everything by mail. Maybe they're just suggesting that you should send the pdf by mail instead of online?

argh!! they really shouldn't make the online supplement THIS hard to find. it's gotta be there. well. commonapp.org specifically says that the supplement must be sent online if the common app is sent online. so i dont think that cmu would totally disregard that option anyways.

this is really quite frustrating. if anyone finds the online supplement... please, please let me know. thanks!

You definitely can do the supplement on line and pay on line at commonapp.org

I don't remember the exact links to it, but try the "Checklist" tab and be sure you have CMU on your active "My Colleges" list. "Checklist" seems to show everything you need, including the pay on line function.

I find the Common App hardly common as many schools are not fully supporting on line entry, but at least CMU does. BTW, CMU does not have its own on line app; the Common app is the only way to do CMU on line.
