can trustee scholarships transfer between schools

I'm a trustee scholar through viterbi, and I'm pretty sure I'll stick with biomedical engineering through graduation, but in the off chance that I would chose to switch majors out of viterbi, would the trustee scholarship transfer?

I’m like 90% sure they told us at the trustee session for Marshall that it would transfer if we switched

for a question as important as this, don’t trust any of us, get the answer from someone authorized by USC to speak on the matter & write down their name & position, as well as the time & date you spoke with them. some scholarships do transfer & others don’t so getting clarification (preferably in writing) is always best policy before you have expensive surprises.

S had a friend who got presidential for Viterbi but transferred to psychology; his scholarship & FAid transferred. i’d still check on your particular situation before making any plans.

I agree with HImom. Does the fine print on your Trustee’s letter say anything about the conditions of the scholarship?

We looked into this, too. We were told the Trustee and Presidential remain even if you transfer majors. It’s always good to double check with USC.

My D transferred from the College to Annenberg with a Presidential. It didn’t even occur to me that it might be a problem…and it was not. Phew.

thanks everyone. I thought I remembered USC saying it would transfer as well, and up until right before I posted it never even occurred to me that it wouldn’t, but then i saw a thread about how each school allocates it’s own trustee scholarships, and I got worried. I guess it’s too late to do anything anyway, I’ve already submitted my SIR (WOOHOO! Fight On!) and I would have done it whether the scholarship transfered or not, so I guess I’ll just cross that bridge if I come to it…
