too bad only 2 on the list are in California. I don't want to leave the state.=P

George Washington should be off, on the original website that listed ACT Super-score schools, they had it removed by request of the college. Sometimes the information isn't correct and GW mentioned the error more than once in answering admission questions on their site.

Woah, does MIT really superscore?

Yes, once you see MITs application it will be clear to you.

On it, unlike other applications, you will be asked for one English score, one math score, one reading score, one science score, one writing and one composite score. You will then provide the date that each individual score was received.

So as you can see, you are actually filling in the data for the superscore for them.

University of Chicago

Stanford does not superscore by section of the ACT. It will take the highest overall composite and the highest Writing composite from separate test dates, though. And I think there's some reference to it being sensitive to scores on individual sections, for what that's worth. So it's a kind of "super score lite" I guess.

What does U Chicago do, exactly?

sorry, nevermind, i don't think they do after reading it again

So does Wash U really take the highest score of each section on the ACT?

Superscoring sounds like completely the wrong way to go.

Does anyone know of any other colleges added to the ACT superscore list?

Birmingham Southern College

Brown
Columbia
Upenn

Bmsa91, UCLA does not superscore lol

onesadkorean, where do Brown, Upenn, and Columbia say they superscore the ACT?

I have heard that most colleges that superscore only use it for admissions, but scholarship awards are based on a single test date composite score.

Really? that’s a bummer, I needed my 31 superscore to compete for a few scholarships. Do you have any specific examples?

Stanford does.
