I know at Columbia you do not need to have a major to graduate. But if you decide to only have a concentration, does that still lead to a bachelor's degree, or some other type of degree since a concentration does not require as many credits?

I believe the short answer is yes. With that said, there is little reason to do this. The credits needed to graduate in the first place essentially force you to take enough classes for a full major anyway (unless you’re specifically doing something like a triple concentration). If this is the case, and you are trying to study a very diverse set of topics instead of going in depth in a specific one or two, Columbia is not the place for you. The curriculum is in general quite rigid.
