<p>Hahaha. I think it’s likely unrelated. You’re fine. Maybe you had a torrent program running in the background or had out of date antivirus. It should have told you what you were kicked off for.</p>

<p>I used to torrent the Stewart book almost every day to do Calc homework and I turned out alright. And procrastinate doing that by visiting naughty gambling/poker websites.</p>
<p>Guys no torrenting of any way or form is allowed at UF. And yes, UF monitors every UF student’s computer connected to their network. They’re working on doing that for smart phones too</p>
