Geography grazes over some science and math but nothing to the extent of the engineering cirriculum. I'm also assuming most prospective grad students are required to have a degree in an enginneering or related field. Is geography close enough?

You would have to take many math and physics courses if you want to. It is possible though, people have switched from biology to engineering, but you are going to have to take some prerequisite engineering courses. I wouldn't want to jump in an engineering masters program with a geography degree, assuming they'll accept you with that background in the first place.
