and i can't choose which i should major in.
i read online that a bachelor's degree in psychology isn't need in order to get a master's in psychology.
and i also read that pscyhology classes on the bachelor's degree level aren't needed much because they are theoretical.

so, do you think it would be a smart move to major in graphic design or some type of art now (and possibly minor in psychology), and then later on pursue a master's in psychology?

But what grade level are you? An incoming freshman? If so you definitely don't have to choose right now. Classes in both + gen eds is definitely the way to go.

I agree with Lumine. If this is your first semester and you can stay undeclared, see whether you can do one art class, one psychology class, and three classes that would satisfy gen ed requirements for both majors. Meet with your professors in your art and psychology classes and talk about the dilemma.

If your school has a graduate program in psychology, your psychology professor is likely to be able to talk to you about how you can make yourself attractive to graduate programs in psychology without majoring in the subject -- or at least she should be able to tell you who else on the faculty could talk to you about it.
