<p>I thought that if you had scholarships and whatever over the cost of the current year, that you had to return the scholarships. Now I'm hearing that you can keep the scholarships and use them next year or whenever. I've also heard that now the money is yours to use however you want. If it's sent to you, then I can see how you could use it however you wished but if it's sent to the school then I thought it could only be used for schooling costs. So, which is it?</p>
<p>That would really depend on the scholarship and the school. If it goes directly into the student’s account then it can probably be rolled over to the next year. But check with the school to verify.</p>
