thanks guys

AS WELL I WOULD BE GLAD TO HEAR ANY OTHER COLLEGES YOU THINK I WOULD BE LIKELY TO GET INTO/FIT INTO/RECOMMEND

Are you involved in any school clubs? I chanced you based on the 3.7 because that is what you said you have. I also don’t like to do this but I used your SAT prediction. As far as the major goes I used Chemical engineering. I also listed the avg gpa of the schools along with the avg SAT score. Most schools for the coming years are trying to admit student with stats above the avg.
UCLA- reach 4.0 1902
USC-IN 3.8 2045
U-Mich ann arbor-IN 3.8 1992
Stanford-reach 4.0 2172
Cal Tech-Reach 3.9 2277
UPenn-Reach 3.91 2150
Princeton-maybe 3.8 2225
UCB-IN 3.8 2009
JHU-IN 3.7 2082
SCHOOL I RECOMMEND
Carnegie Mellon- 3.6 2090
Vanderbilt-3.6 2157
NYU- 3.7 2007
Rutgers- 3.62 1775

What would be your UC Gpa (sophomore+junior). I think even though your high school is competitive, SAT scores are a common defining factor. I’d aim to get upwards of 2200+ to be competitive in those schools. You still have the summer left for your internships so do another chance thread in Aug/Sept…Aim to get 5’s in your AP. Some of those scores will legitimize your rigor at school. Also from what I have heard, the big ones HYPMS will take like the top 1-2 kids from a school. So even though your school doesn’t rank, they will know it by a straight A student with the super SAT scores. And those will get the preference.
Maintain your grades through the remaining semester and also your senior year rigor.
