Can you reapply to a college under RD if you were rejected under ED?

<p>Especially if you applied to an Ivy one. Sorry if this is a dumb question, and I tried looking for an answer online, but websites only talked about what happens if you only applied RD to a college. A person would have to reapply under different deadlines next fall.</p>

<p>I'm asking this because my counselor sent in first quarter grades with my transcript and my grades were higher now. I also didn't retake the SAT at the time. So if they maybe see this new change, I would have more of a chance? </p>

<p>But anyway yeah, is it a no, yes, or depends on the college? If you were to resubmit your things by the regular deadline, would it be okay?</p>

<p>No, a rejection at ED will not be considered at all. Only a defer ED applicant will be considered at RD. Do not waste your time in thinking about this. Just move on and spend your effort in applying to all the other schools that are on your list. If you still want to attend that school in the future, the route is through transfer.</p>
