<li>yes, its fine to submit just act. scores matter less than the transcript anways. they usually dont do a double take on the scores unless they are drastically different than your school achievement. </li>
<li>write about something you are passionate about. there is a section for activities, so dont think that your ecs will be overlooked. but if theres something about an activity that you really want yale to know (that cant be put in the activity summary) then write an essay about it. theres no “set” standard for what people submit. if there was, the admin officers would be bored out of their minds. write about YOU. if your ecs say a lot about you, then so be it. if your academics say a lot about you, then so be it. dont feel like you need to explain your “waky” record in an essay though. thats the kind of thing you either dont do or do in additional info.</li>
