Or do you have to go to college before?

I don't even know if there is a difference between College and University. I'm just a curious 14 year old girl who someday hopes to get into the UCLA Theater program:)

A college and university describe basically the same type of institution. Both offer undergraduate degrees… Meaning that students who have a HS diploma can enroll and purse a degree program. Often the term university is used to describe an institution that also offers graduate degrees… Meaning a degree that one would pursue after obtaining an undergraduate degree. Although some colleges also will offer graduate degrees. In order to be admitted to college you must graduate from HS or obtain your GED (general equivalency degree) apply to the colleges that you might like to attend, and be admitted. Each school will have slightly different admissions standards and requirements. You are ahead of the game thinking about it this early. Do you have a HS guidance counselor you can talk to?
