Can you still negotiate FA if you paid the deposit already?

<p>I paid my nonrefundable deposit already, but I would like to have my parents apply for a plus loan (and get denied. I'm 90% sure they will with our current state) to have the extra 4k added to my package.</p>

<p>Yes, your parents can still apply for PLUS. Whether they get denied is a whole other story.</p>
