I think this would be very interesting...
Please post who you think is a fe/male, and reply if you're being misrepresented.

I think a lot of ccers assume that I am a guy. I suppose it's because I have a gender neutral name and my posts don't really indicate my gender.

nspeds appears to be a female

haha..nspeds appears to be female? I strongly disagree.

i think for some people it's easy to tell.... though i personally don't think there are TOO many names that really indicate if the user is male or female... usually it's by the way the person talks (or, rather, writes :) ). many people do, at some point, state which they are, also.

starcatch is a female?

I was just wondering how y'all felt about gender neutrality and all that in this forum...On a past thread of mine, a fellow CCer once replied: "This is why all the Asian girls flock to white guys like me" or something to that effect, and I found that comment very amusing because I'm actually a girl. I thought it was really interesting that he automatically assumed I was a guy based on what I write. Is there a "manly" way to write? I mean, I noticed most guys are less careful with capitalization/punctuation/organization, but a lot of girls disregard all of that, too...

guys are logical

girls are emotional

( IN GENERAL ! )

Whoa...
Gabe, are you ready get flamed by all the avid female CCers out there? Haha.
I beg to differ, but I will honor your (disclaimer) for now :D

im the only male in this forum and everyone else is female

jk

I thought Bokchoi was a girl after that thread about UCSD's drab green welcome letter that was 5 days late. :D Although there are many intelligent guys and girls in this forum, I noticed only the guys feel obligated to assert their "intelligence" by being overly confrontational.

And many girls who post here seem to have other interests and lives outside of school. They keep this forum well balanced in discussion.

Definitely on CC, lol.

Nicopico, judging from your very cute, rhyming login ID, I'm assuming you're my kind as well...?

Nicopico is male, I think.

I like to think I am male, but I manage to fool myself at times.

yes male. My name is Nico and I lived (and attended CC) on Pico blvd in socal... very uncreative login ID I have.

"I noticed only the guys feel obligated to assert their "intelligence" by being overly confrontational."

Wow, never heard a truer statement in my life (well at least in relation to CC)...

What about TallKell's outbursts?

i am female, everyone else is male to me.

Nico, my reply was an example of the very issue I was trying to address...
My apologies. I hope I didn't offend you TOO much.

i'm a female, can't you tell?
