Can you transfer to Chapel Hill?

After only a semester at say NC State?

[Transferring to Carolina](http://admissions.unc.edu/Apply/Transfer_Students/Class_Standing.html)

That’s fine and dandy, but it does not really tell me about transferring in the spring.

No need to berate a member who is trying to help you, read the last paragraph of that link very carefully. If you are asking about spring transfers (that is not necessarily the same as transferring after 1 sem), they say that “most” programs, including the College of A&S, only take fall transfers:

I have had a chance to read the web site about transferring, but as you pointed out if only deals with the college of A&S, rather then the college in general.

I was wondering if anyone had some experience with transferring in general.

The College of A&S covers all UG majors except a few professional schools (see Schools & Colleges):

If you are in something outside of A&S, you should go to the primary source and give them a call.
