Can you withdraw from a class that has a co-requisite?

Hi, I had a quick question.

You know how some courses have co-requisites? If you drop one that requires the other, is that other class also dropped? I seem to recall that when I dropped the class that was dependent on the other on my registration portal, the other class was also dropped. I’m not sure if I imagined that though because I later added the class back (this was before classes started and I was making final schedule changes). I can’t seem to find any information about this online, so I was just wondering if anybody had an answer. Thank you for any help :slight_smile:

With all you do to help other Trojans, sorry no answer here @zettasyntax, I think it was too technical for most and I forgot to ask my son about it…did you call them?

@CADREAMIN It isn’t really an urgent issue, so I’m not too motivated as to call and find out. I was just really curious. I would add a class with a corequisite myself and try to drop one, but with all my classes basically full, I’m worried that somebody would swoop in and take my spot :stuck_out_tongue: Thanks for responding though :slight_smile:

They would absolutely do that - never give up a spot till you have to or chaos ensues!
