Thanks for taking the time to read!

Hello, my fella BCYP-er! :D

OMGOMGOMGOM shad valley... which campus... i was Laval LOL

haha yeah this is my first year at BCYP =)
and for shad.. waterloo

Oohh Shad Valley! A friend of mine did it. Ambitiousteen, you went to U Laval? That's in my city aha :)

I'm not qualified to chance anyone, but I think you're a fairly strong applicant. 1500 hours? That is insane aha

HAHA I'm not returning this year, but make sure you go up to people and ALWAYS introduce yourself first! Be social, be social, BE SOCIAL! (I cannot repeat that enough)
BCwhyyypeeee is an absolutely amazing experience; you'll absolutely LOVE it. (I did :D)

But back to chances...sorry to tell ya, but I don't find anything special in your extracurriculars. You really gotta stand out from the tough international pool (moreso next year, considering the expected increase in number of US apps in BC in class of 2010).

What if I were to qualify for the USAMO/CMO? Would that make a difference?

Well, let's just say that it won't turn your application from rejection to acceptance...

1500 hours isnt to bad more than the average... i know that a friend of mine, and myself included... have well over 2300 hours...

Do you people actually list how many hours you've done community service on the common app? Isn't that sort of hypocritical?

^^well anyone can list this

"i did community service at the church and took on this position"

ta da...

now prove it...

Writing on the wall lately Ambitousteen?

AHHH! YOU ARE ALL FROM BC?! ME TOO!
mrclassicfreak : i hope there isnt an increase of US apps from BC in 2010, that would be horrible.. even more competition than ever :S
