Canadian citizenship going to high school in the US?

Hi, I'm Chinese (born in China) but currently have Canadian citizenship exclusively (gave up my Chinese one).
I have also gone to school in the US since kindergarten.

Would I be considered an international student and evaluated with students from Canada? or China? Or with the rest of my peers from my American high school?

If the former, would I be disadvantaged because I'm international? And would I have an advantage compared to other Canadian students because I've went to high school in America?

Thanks!

Academically, you’ll be compared to your American peers. However, for financial and immigration purposes, you are an international student unless you are an immigrant (US permanent resident, refugee, etc). What’s your current visa status in the US?

Being an international student won’t be a disadvantage UNLESS you need financial assistance to pay for college. In which case it would be a HUGE disadvantage.

Will you graduate from US high school? Depending which state and what immigration status, you may qualify for in-state tuition rate.

I think you also could attend colleges in Canada without too much trouble.
