Canadian schools v.s American Schools

Hi:
I know people have debated much about the prestige and undergraduate experience between American and Canadian schools. I respect opinions for and against Canadian schools. I am accepted to queen's and Dickinson( small LAC). Which schools has better ACADEMICS in general sciences(eg.chem, physics)? I know i can get great education in either school. Student life seems similiar in both schools except that there are more clubs in queen's university. Which school produces more people to go to top graduate schools like MIT and Stanford???????

Please share your opinions and thoughts.

That's actually what I was wondering. Can you get into a good (great) American grad program from U Toronto or U British Columbia?

Queen's University has more prestige and better students than Dickinson College. I don't know how American grad schools view UBC or Toronto, but it probably depends more on your GRE, LSAT or MCAT scores & GPA than the school from which you graduate.

well, there are certainly many more students in Queen's than in Dickinson. Dickinson has 3000 while queen's has like 15000. Therfore, it's obviously better students are more in queen's. But i think you get more personal attention in dickinson which means better letters of recs. the only good thing i see in Queen's would be the state-of-the art science equipments for research. Does anyone have any opinions? I got like 2 days to choose which college to go to.

Grad school admissions is all about Grades, GREs, and Letters from your undergraduate professors. People get into "top" graduate schools in the USA from all over the world.

If you are Canadian, unless you have a rich uncle who will pay the roughly 50k in US dollars for you to attend Dickinson each year, go to Queen's. If you are a US citizen, go to whichever of these two schools is cheaper for you. Save your money. Study hard. Earn the respect of your professors. Then worry about where to apply to graduate school.
