Hello,

I signed up for both Phys & Bio for the November date but don't wish to take the Phys anymore. Is there anyway I can cancel the Phys test?

I think you just don't take that certain test on the test date. You don't have to do anything else about the registration. I remember reading something about this on College Board's site. Take a look..

Here is just a warning: If you choose to write both tests, you cannot choose which test you want to cancel. If you wish to cancel your scores, all the tests taken on the test date will be canceled.

I unfortunately, do not know the answer to your question.

It's a big dilemma, but you have two choices.

Take the physics test anyway and stay with a mediocre score or cancel both scores.

the only way you can cancel one score is if it is a math section. last june i took chem, math1 and math2, after taking chem (no calc) and math 2 (calc) my calc died and i freaked out on the math 1 and i spent so much time trying to fix my calc that i knew i did awfully, so i canceled the math1 score based on a calculator malfunction (a legit means for cancellation)

Freaky is right - you don't need to do anything - just take the Bio test on the test day. Some of the posters above are talking what happens after you take the test - if you want to cancel your scores after taking tests you must cancel for all subject tests taken on that day (except in special cases like sweatpants' above). From the collegeboard website:

"I signed up for three Subject Tests, but I only want to take two. What should I do?
On test day, simply take the test(s) you want to take. There's no need to contact us."

Sweatpants, you should've bought two calculators, like what I did for the PSAT.

Too bad you had to learn your lesson the hard way, better luck next time.
