Are you an incoming freshman?
Were you trying to apply immediately after paying your deposit? It can take the system several hours to update after paying the enrollment deposit. Try again and see if it works. Best of luck!
Were you in early college? If so, you are still classified as “non-degree seeking” and you need to call the early college office so they can change your status. That was my problem. I called and 5 minutes later it was fixed.
