I'm currently taking physics 7a and chem h2a, I'm a mechanical engineering major, so the only chemistry left that i have to take is the chemistry for engineers lab. chem 1LE. my enrollment window opened yesterday but i was only able to enroll in a writing class and a math class. I tried to enroll in physics 7b and chem 1LE but it said that PREREQ NOT MET-SEE ACADEMIC COUNSELOR. does this mean i have to wait until final grades have been submitted before i can enroll in the classes.

It says that you need to take Chem1A or Chem1B for the Chem1LE lab.

I have a similar question to yours since I am taking Chem 1A now but was not told by adviser during orientation to sign up for the 1LE lab. I think you will have to talk to your adviser to clear it up with her. (This is a guess) I am seeing my adviser on Tues. I'll get back to you....

i dont remember the particular order for enrollment, but try doing this (for physics):

lecuture, discussion, lab.
discussion, lecture, lab.

or wahtver. i dont want to write out all the combinations. i had that problem (with physi 7b). i thought i was f***ed for a while. just changed the order and it worked.

as for your chem, i cant say.

OK, you are gonna have to email the chem dept w/ your ID number name and chem 1le course code. They should then allow you to enroll in the class.

I spoke with the adviser today. Good luck.
