Any tips for making your ECs stand out via common app? I have many activities that have had large impacts on my high school experience as well as my life in general, like leadership positions, tutoring, paid job, and etc. I’m just not sure how to actually make them stand out in the application…is giving a brief explanation enough, since the people handling admissions will see what the activity was? Any thoughts?
Just try and make the sentence as profound as possible lol. At these larger schools, scores are more important and ECs can help but unless you have a hook ECs won’t make up for lack of good grades or scores so don’t stress it to much.
