I come from a social psychology background, but would like to get into finance. I am thinking of getting a MS in Finance and I am wondering if this is the best route to take in order to begin a career in financial services. My end goal is to be a portfolio manager or a relationship manager. The school I am going to is not a top-tier school, but is a pretty good school with a long history in business.

You can get a job in financial services with any background… not sure exactly what you want to do, but have you applied for any positions with financial services companies already?
Your degree type is not a one for one ticket for your career type.
