Hey everyone

I am a sophomore premed right now, but after taking organic chemistry I think it's the most fascinating thing ever, and I really like biochemistry too.

My question is, is it possible to develop a commercially marketable product from chemistry, like some sort of a lipo-polymer for lip injections for cosmetic purposes, and start a company to manufacture that product? Like is it possible to be a scientist and run a business so you can reap the profits from what you discover?

What is the right field to study for those? Could you get a B.S or PHD in Chemistry and then get an MBA? Or is Engineering+MBA more suited for this type of work?

I know a scientist's reward should be from the knowledge you learn, but I have been poor my whole life, and would like to be rich some day.
