Nope. NO FAT letter was received. We actually freaked out and went back online a couple of weeks ago just to view
the acceptance letter to make sure! Deposit was also paid on the day of acceptance. (I worried about the FAT letter as well.) It is my understanding the FAT includes information that is not given out until now. Although, I never did call admissions about it. I just asssumed we would get it in March. I just want a photo of him holding the FAT letter! So, if any of you know of an person that was accepted ED and they DID receive a FAT letter in December, then I need to call CMU ASAP!!!
@alizarin Everyone I know of who got accepted EA did not receive a FAT letter so I think it is standard
@Axelarate Go to bed, perform at your concert, and then check the portal. They’ve made you wait 3 days, it’s only fair you make them wait a bit too, right?

guysguys on my portal reads follow up letter and viewbook postcard under admission documents sent. I dont see any record of decision letter being sent… is this just me? and how did u guys receive the fa letter??

Haha I’m sure everyone’s just preoccupied atm. And no, under Admission Documents sent I’m pretty sure they don’t include the decision letters.
Speaking of portals, does anyone have “Entrance Counseling” and two loan things under “Financial Documents needed”? I’m wondering if I forgot to turn in some finaid material…
Those were what i meant by the extra fa docs that have been apparently associated with acceptance. Does everybody have them?
my tax forms werent signed i dont think. and the chart with all my financial documents says eveything is fulfilled, but if i click on “financial aid notification” on the top (it’s a white button), it says i still have some requirements missing? so could that be why i dont have those 3 documents that everything is talking about??? AHHHH

@chickennuggets I have the extra FA things and the same thing appears when I click on the FinAid Notification button.
