Carnegie Mellon?

I am just now finishing up my junior year of high school and I’m deciding where I want to apply to/ go to college. My top choices as of now are University of Virginia, William& Mary, Carnegie Mellon and Washington& Lee.

I am signed up to take the sat but haven’t taken it yet, so I only have my psat score which was a 1260 out of 1520 (94 percentile).

Weighted gpa: 4.01
Unweighted: 3.7

-high school sports all three seasons every year so far and will continue playing all seasons next year

  • cheer captain junior year
  • Girl Scouts since 5th grade: have gotten silver award and just finished my gold award
    -national honor society 10th and 11th (and hopefully 12th too)
    -debate club (2yrs and co-captain)
    -hostess for a restaurant all junior year
  • Deca 10th- 11th (and next year); state finalist and placed both years, going on to internationals this year
  • science fair 3rd place

I’m missing some Extracurriculars and awards but this is all I thought of right now. Any advice or opinions on my chances of getting in would help a lot, thanks!

Hi, Carnegie Mellon student here. Which college/major are you hoping to get into here? They have different requirements/acceptance rates.
