carol never wore her safety goggles...

has anyone seen that poster in science classes that says "carol never wore her safety goggles...now she doesn't need them"?

anyone know where to get one?

HAHA, my Chem teacher had that in her class! It's funny as hell!! lol. Do you have my chem teacher? where do you live?

Hey, theres a wikipedia article about it:

<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carol_Never_Wore_Her_Safety_Goggles%5B/url%5D">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carol_Never_Wore_Her_Safety_Goggles</a></p>

Oh yeah, it's funny because we NEVER EVER used safety goggles in my class. Even when we were using concentrated ammonia, hydrochloric and sulfuric acid solutions, as well as heating chemicals. My teacher was not bright. We even did this one lab that required the use of a fume hood or it could cause "serious chronic respiratory problems" and we had to beg her to open a window! LLOLLOLLZ

there is a group about this on facebook & people have made variations of their own signs and come up with different sayings for the "and now she doesn't need them" part..its pretty funny

Yeah i want that poster..

My Chem teacher has that in his class room. Hilarious poster.

Johnny had a stomachache.
He doesn't anymore
For what he thought was H2O
Was H2SO4

^^ nice....

there's a facebook group about carol.
<a href="http://facebook.com/group.php?gid=2207671589%5B/url%5D">http://facebook.com/group.php?gid=2207671589</a></p>

yeah...i'm part of that facebook group...

I've seen that poster before! I think schools/teachers get them from a company that also makes periodic tables and supplies lab materials.

haha yeah but it seems like that company only sells to teachers. the only way ive heard of people getting them is by asking their teachers for theirs or just taking them.

but i wanted to know if i could buy one somewhere because its the funniest thing ever.

Oh, we have one. I think our teacher took it down, though...because everyone was always laughing and making fun of it.

Best. Poster. Ever.

HAHAHAHA yup, our ex-chemistry teacher had it. The guy who took her place, however, took it down because he felt it was a bit grim. The first day of class everyone came into the room and asked him "WHERE'S CAROL?"

Someone I know has a T-shirt of that poster. Dunno where he got it, though.

That would be perfect! I wish I could buy it for my Chem teacher as a thank-you for my recommendation... because her name IS Carol! Hahaha =)

We had a similar poster. It said, "Wear your safety goggles" at the top. Below, it had the same message... written in Braille. Then, at the bottom, it said, "Which would you rather read?" ...scary!

You can usually get those things at Barnes & Noble, but that's just a guess.

I have the Carol poster in my bedroom. lol.... My teacher said I could have it at the end of my junior year. She had like 10 of them, so I got one!

ok, well does anyone have a really good picture of the poster that I can use to make an iron-on tshirt? im looking for the white on black version, not the gold/yellowish on black one. thanks!

LOL i want it now
