CAS ED chances please?

<p>Hope to major in chemistry. School is a pretty competitive public that sends a handful of kids to Cornell each year. My GPA is a point or 2 lower than usual, but my grades improved greatly junior year and I hope to continue that through senior year. I've taken every core honors/AP course available.</p>

Ethnicity: White, male
Senior year courses: AP Physics B, AP Bio, AP Calc AB, AP Lit, AP Gov, Band, Vocal Ensemble
Recs: Will be from italian IV and AP chem teachers, both should be good
EC's: Very involved in music: i play guitar, bass and trumpet, and I have perfect pitch. i've been in rock, punk, and metal bands since 5th grade and i write + record my own music. I'm part of concert band, marching band, pit orchestra and vocal ensemble. I'm in NHS, Tri-M, Italian honor society, and some small community service groups around the school. I performed in a student run play last year, and i hope to join the theater company next year.
Essays: I'm going to put my heart and soul into them</p>

<p>Don’t know how your grading system works, but it’s going to be a low reach because your ECs aren’t that great though but they have the potential to distinguish you from other high-performers.</p>

<p>but if what you said is true then you should have a decent chance at least.</p>

<p>My grade is very competitive compared to previous years. Someone with my average usually would be in the top 10%, but I’m not sure if I will make it, I haven’t gotten my percentile yet.</p>
