<p>I received a $25,000 "CAS Scholarship," which from what I have heard is supposed to be granted to CAS Presidential Scholars. However, I did not receive a letter stating that in the mail, so is this just $25,000 in merit-based aid? Also, I received a $6500 "CAS Eckhouse Scholarship."</p>

<p>You are invited to be a CAS Presidential Honors’ Scholar if you are in top 5% of the entering class. Please note, however, not all CAS Pres. Scholars receive money.</p>
<p>It sounds like you received one of the better FA packages at NYU.</p>
