yea…i got a big white envelope with a see through part showing my letter to case undergrad. Behind that letter was my ppsp notification. Behind that was a purple sheet with more information regarding the ppsp interview. behind that was a folder with general information about case

Hmm…I just received the letter today.

Got the paper saying I was admitted and received the Trustee Scholarship.

But, it said that PPSP finalists will be contacted the first week in February. So who knows…

I was admitted and received the Trustee’s Scholarship as well and was named a finalist for PPSP medicine.

Some people who applied from my school also said that their admit packet stated that finalists would be contacted the first week of Feb. so idk what that means…

admitted and received Trustee’s Scholarship and finalist for PPSP medicine. registered for interview with first choice 3/19 and second choice 3/18. i looked at how other people answered the interview registration. including me, 28 have registered for ppsp medicine interviews already. anyone know how many are finally accepted into the program?

I have a bad feeling that those who got “contacted in the first week in Feb” are rejected already since so many people have gotten interviews.

oh crap…
i just got admssion package today!!!
but mine didnt have any paper about ppsp
(i’m applying to dental program…oh crap…)
omg…omg…

i was out of town this weekend, so i just got home and got my ppsp invite. at the moment, there are 55 people signed up: 42 for medicine, 8 for dentistry, and 5 for law.

How do you guys know the numbers of people who registered for interviews?

after you register, you can choose to ‘view previous replies’ and it shows you some basic information about who has RSVP’ed.

Does anyone mind posting their stats? I just want to see if I have a chance.

Received the reject letter for PPSP. I am really very sad

i also got rejected without interview from ppsp but i got the provost’s scholarship with my case acceptance

^Anyone know when regular decisions (for us mortals who missed the Nov. 1st deadline and applied more toward the end of the month) will be released?

I hope the answer is NOT April 1st!!!

@OHKID: It’s probably a little before April 1st.

Also, does this mean that nearly everyone who didn’t get a PPSP finalist notification in their acceptance packet didn’t make it? That seems strange…

I applied for PPSP (med), but I haven’t received anything from the university yet, regarding acceptance into the program or not or even acceptance into the university itself. Am I like the only one?

anyone know how many people in total got interviews?

Do any of you know what is the required GPA for students already enrolled in PPSP-medicine to stay in the program?

mamatata: The website says you have to maintain a “B+” standard. So that’s maybe around 3.6?

I’m a PPSP med finalist and got the Trustee’s scholarship. I have a few questions:

How many people do they accept into the program every year? I know it’s ridiculously competitive, but does anyone have numbers?

Is the Trustee’s scholarship for one year or all four?

If you receive other scholarships (like from your high school), does Case lower its contribution, or do you get the scholarship money in addition to Case’s aid?

If anyone could answer any of these questions, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Trustee scholarship, it should have info on your letter, but I have one too and mine is for all four years (I think some of them are for 3 because they give some scholarships out to current freshman, but that’s not realy what you’re asking about).

The Trustee scholarship is based on merit and therefore does not depend on external scholarships (I think they’d probably lower it if you were going to end up making money).

As far as financial aid is concerned, I believe it is common practice for schools to take into account external scholarships. However, if you receieved a FA package with some loans, grants and work study I am not sure which part your external scholarship would affect (I mean if they have you the same amount in grants and just less in loans that would be fantastic, but I realy have no idea).

But call and check with admissions and FA about these questions.

Hi, I’m a senior from Hawaii and got an acceptance mail from case,

for ppsp dentistry, but i got an interview date on mar 18th.

does anyone know how the interview proceeds?

just wanna prepare for it, so like what kinda stuff they interview on?
