<p>my ECs are decent and my GPA is about 3.8ish/4.6W and i take the hardest courses at my school. is there any hope with these scores?</p>

<p>ok well i have officially fallen in love with case after getting a letter from them. honestly i had never heard of it before but it just fits me so well. atleast that is what i get from what i have read about it i will have to see more this summer when i visit it but anyways here are my stats:</p>

<p>also, i would like to go premed (bio major perhaps). what is the percentage of kids going on to med school? how's case's premed program with regards to difficulty, and is it very hard to maintain a good gpa?</p>

<p>snag, the premed percentage from 2004 would be a 68% acceptance rate. 138 applied, 94 accepted.</p>
<p>for a bit more detail, those who have BCPM (i'm guessing bio/chem/phys/math ) gpas of 3.4 or higher in 2004, the acceptance rate was 83%</p>
<p>the rule that i hear here the most often is that you should aim for a GPA of 3.7 and above, and MCAT of 30 and above, and you should be ALMOST golden. the rumor is also that a BCPM gpa of 3.7 and above has a 75% acceptance rate into Case SOM....who knows.</p>
<p>a bio major for pre-med? i think it'll be easy, so many of your premed prereqs will be met, or can be met easily. engineering will be one of the most difficult ways to go, in what i see...</p>
