Case Western Essays Optional?

<p>I was just looking over the commonapp supplement for Case Western, and saw this:</p>

<p>"Are you applying for the Pre-Professional Scholars Program? Deadline for submissions is December 1.</p>

<p>If yes, please select the program for which you are applying, and complete the two required essays: "</p>

<p>Does that mean that the two essays are NOT REQUIRED if I'm not applying for the Pre-Professional program?</p>

<p>I believe you are correct. I don't think the essays are required unless you're applying for the Pre-Professional Scholars Program.</p>
