Case Western mid-year grades

Hey guys. So I just got a mail from CWRU that my decision should be up by March 15th, but there is one thing that worries me- they asked me to send in my mid-year grades a couple of weeks back, but I still haven't. I'm having my final examinations going on, and I've been stuck with them for a month now, which explains that.

Now the question is: will they reject me just because I haven't provided them with my mid-year grades?

Thanks.

From what i gather in this thread <a href=“Does Case need a mid-year report? - Case Western Reserve University - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/case-western-reserve-university/456946-does-case-need-a-mid-year-report.html</a> it seems that mid year reports are required and the fact that they personally asked you for your grades yet you didnt send them for weeks is not a good thing. Truthfully most schools WILL reject/defer if you do not provide them with mid-year grades, as it is a significant thing to show good grade consistency/rigor/and any changes academically. You should send them an email explaining your situation so that their is atleast a reason for the delay that they are aware of.

Oh right, I will email them ASAP! Thanks for that!

Got deferred. Must be a good sign, I hope :)

I would imagine you were deferred because you didn’t send your grades. You might have been accepted if you had. Good luck.

That sounds good, I should send them my scores ASAP then. Thanks! :)
