<p>I know that Georgetown is a Jesuit school and that, as a result, Catholicism must play some role in student life. But does it effect student life so much that someone who isn't catholic would feel uncomfortable. </p>
<p>Also, does the fact that it's a catholic school make the party/drinking scene smaller/non existent. because that would suck. haha</p>
<p>This was one of my major questions when applying, but looking back on it now it’s almost funny. Literally I have felt 0 negative influence from the catholic church and it has by no means made anyone feel uncomfortable. Ironically the number on class in the theology department is called “Problem of God” and, at least in my class, there are more atheists than theists. </p>
<p>In terms of parties, I’m actually heading out to a themed party now, and have no idea why I’m on CC…</p>
