I procrastinate because I am a perfectionist. If I wait until the last minute to do something, then it is ok that it is not perfect. I once wrote a 16 page research paper in one night. I’m one of those people that can’t stand to look back over a paper and revise it. I also procrastinate because I don’t like to deny myself pleasure. Afterall any of us could die at any moment. What if I spent the next hour studying Physics, just to die later? What a waste of my last hour! =/. Instead I waste hours of time worrying about doing things instead of doing them.

But I am working on it.

Y’all should watch Randy Pausch’s Lecture on Time Management

US History study guide

TASPlication
Scholastic writing pieces
Cleaning my room (that’ll take a solid hour at the least)

Am:

They tried to make me go to rehab, I said tomorrow-row
I said I’m going sleep and maybe eat some peeps, but I’ll go tomorrow.
I said I aint got the time and facebook says, “You’re mine.”
They tried to make me go to rehab, but I said, “Tomorrow.”

I heavily procrastinate on reading assignments for H English, lawlz.
I don’t know how I’ll do in AP Lang next year.

I read at the speed of light, though. I can memorize chapters with decent accuracy.

Anyway:
Math Homework (Just do it the period before LOL it’s laughably easy)
Reading assignments (Strangely enough, I’m the most well-read person I know)
Outlines (I can type over 100 WPM, so I just do them at the media center in the library before class.)

Factors:
YouTube (I HAVE TOO MANY SUBSCRIPTIONS TO AMAZING CHANNELS. Harrumph!)
CC
Once I get absorbed in a book series, it becomes my first priority. Even before water and peeing and sleeping. Book first, 1st-layer Maslow Needs later.
