wow....30% for Wharton??? Were the CCer's last year just as competitive as the guys this year?? I know I'm not on the top 30% of CCers....

You're the enthusiastic, bright 17 year old. I'm sure you could figure it out. It is helpful, but there are other ways. How do all of those other kids get in?

Through their independant counselors or seasoned guidance counselors. Both of which I don't have coming from a public school in the middle of nowhere...without this board, i would of had a tough time

hmmm... about the wharton admissions rate. i wouldnt worry too much about not being the shiniest activity list out there. a lot of the cc'ers have similar stats (i have a 4.0 blah blah blah, APs yahoo!), and plus there are a LOT of internationals on this blog. wharton probably gets a whole butt load of perfect americans and internationals, and a class full of perfect people is really creepy (think "the stepford wives" with homework and internships). if you can differentiate yourself from them, then you have a good shot!

wow huntsman rate

So, 7 ppl applied, 5 got in.

which means 1/4 of the whole ED population was from CC

that's just so awesomE!!!

Keep in mind the small sample sizes when you look at the percentages and make assumptions..

easy for you to say

I wish I'd found this site before I'd handed in all of those applications. I learn more here every day than I did from my GC all year, almost.

wharton 30% for CC is 50% better than this years predicted 20% sighh

it's hard to know realistic CC stats cuz a lot of people won't post if they're rejected or even deffered in some cases
