CFA vs Actuarial exam difficult?

Having taken the first actuarial exam (probability), I underestimated the difficulty of it and got a 4, 6 is passing. I'm going to retake it and hopefully pass. I'm also considering taking part 1 of the CFA for VEE requirements. I'm hoping it will be a little easier than the SOA exams. Anyone taken both or have any input on what is harder?

Actuarial Exams are much tougher, however there is a broader base of information covered on CFA exams. If you put in the time, you will have no problem with the CFA exams. FWIW, I am an FCAS and have taken the 1st CFA exam.

CFA exams are a joke compared to the actuarial exams. CFA 1 is easier than Actuarial Exam 2 (easiest actuarial exam), CFA 2 is easier than Actuarial 3F and CFA 3 is easier than advanced actuarial exams of the finance track.
