I’d say with your GPA and scores Duke, Chicago, & Mich are the only ones worth applying to. But honestly, I’d go german for college. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Ah a fellow table tennis player! Hi! So do you have any kind of a USATT rating? You must be very high up if you’ve gotten up to round of 16. And no, JHU TT is mediocre. If you really want to play competitively talk to Texas Wesleyan; they even offer scholarships. And yeah, Princeton is very good. Especially with Amaresh and Adam, although I think Adam might have left, so looks like there’s an opening. Columbia has pretty good stuff; I talked Stephanie (was on the junior national team for girls) and she said most of their players are 1800+ with a few in the 2000. I myself plan on playing for Cornell next year. So definitely talk to some coaches. PM if you have any questions.

As for your chances, I stopped going on this board a long time ago so I can’t tell you. I will say that most of these are wrong. You have a good shot at any competitive college, just get your ACT up. Best of luck!

No i am a rising senior so I have not submitted my app yet. I think guilt will kill me if I put an unpopular major for the heck of it, though i am applying for a very high reach. Under the academic interests in the common app, I put my top interest first, then the other 2 were things that are not that popular, but I still like(though I would not consider majoring in them).
