• State (if domestic applicants):NY
• School Type: Public
• Ethnicity: Hispanic
• Gender: Male
• Income Bracket: 50,000
• Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): first generation and low income plus i guess because am hispanic. School does not send kids to top colleges, highest will be stonybrook and syracuse

i also do not know if i should add that i paid for my own classes, because of the fact that my mom is unemployed i lost my chance to get into a program that cost 3000 dollars, so i worked. Also payed for all my test from junior year, SAT II,APs ans ACT, total of 9 test

Of course admission to top colleges is unpredictable, but I’d say you have a very good chance of getting in most anywhere. Good luck!

did you take the PSAT this year? and did you score at or above 219? If so then you can qualify for many BIG scholarships at colleges. You should apply to colleges outside of NY that offer generous merit scholarships to NMF"s.
USC [University of S Calif] is a questbridge partner and has on of the most generous FA programs in the US, as well as a top notch Engineering program. And If you apply before their Dec 1 deadline you could be eligible for their Full Tuition Scholarships.

I am not qualified to chance, being a high school student myself, but you have many hooks + solid academic performance, so you are pretty much set.

I originally wanted to say that your extracurriculars felt lackluster for top colleges, but with URM + first gen + low income, your extracurriculars seem fine.
